Hoping to climb Barre des Ecrins via the normal route next weekend (10th/11th September). Appreciate it can change in a week but does anyone have any information on current conditions on the route?

You'll need to call them to book the hut - and the hut guardian is always the best person to ask for advice!

Just leaving the area (only rock climbing so no idea about glacier/snow conditions) but be aware that everything in Ailefroide for example is already in the process of shutting down.
