Travel Insurance

I'm off to Font at the weekend (yes I know I've left it to the last minute) and am quickly looking for travel insurance in case we get stuck by the blockade.

Never done this before as always climbed in the UK, do people normally say they are climbing? All the questionnaires seem to ask about winter climbing.

BMC obviously cover climbing but they are about 6 times more expensive!

I think normal travel insurance will cover you for normal holiday problems i.e. blockades. its only if you want to be covered for medical things which may result from a climbing acident do you need specialist climbing insurance. Of course for font you may be happy with ehic coverage.
