I will try to climb Paldor (5928m) in the Ganesh Himal area in central Nepal in a couple of weeks time

Does anyone have any advice on which are good mountain weather forecasts to use?
I saw this: http://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Paldor/forecasts/5000
any comment on reliability, any others to recommend?

Many thanks, Leonard (in Kathmandu)

Try http://www.meteoexploration.com/ I like the maps and meteograms. If the peak is not there you can write to them, normally they accept requests.

I've just used mountain-forecast, using the nearest major listed peak. Tends to be a little over sensitive forecasting light showers though. Problem I've found is weather is often so localised in the mountains that I'm not convinced a specific peak forecast for a minor peak will be any more accurate. At least not for budget free forecasts. It could be snowing in one valley and sunny in the next. At least with something like Paldor you don't need to over commit yourself.
