Fly out next week. Got 36 hours in the city before a rafting trip. Looking for ideas on what to do, must see sights and places to eat etc.
Was there about 16 years ago. Am guessing a lot has changed, not least of all due to the tragic earthquake.

Hire a motorbike and ride up to Nagarkott, It's a good trip out passing through the villages rather than just sitting on a bus. I did it years ago with ended up giving a local kid a lift after the bus driver refused him entry.
