Hi,

Planning on giving up work and travelling Europe for a year by van from November this year. However one of the problems we are having is finding adequate cover for mountaineering and climbing for the year as all '12 month' policies only cover a maximum of 60 days in one go? Does anybody know whether there are any options that are just for 12 months with no limit on the trip length?

You can buy outdoor insurance in France for all outdoor sports at a very reasonable price We buy ours in Cham for about 50euros/year I have an address there so I'm not sure if it's available for"etrangers" but we list our UK address for repatriation Absoloutly stunning value!
