Full marks and thanks to BMC for listening to their members and responding. It is not easy for an institution to back down on this sort of issue.

Agree completely.

I was surprised at the strong support for "option 3" at the area meeting I went along to. (And somewhat surprised to find myself supporting it after the discussion, having gone in feeling very negatively about the proposal.) It'll be interesting to see what use they propose to make of the "Climb Britain" moniker.

True, but having paid a design agency lots of dosh for what turned out to be a pretty wanky name must have made it easier.
