Hi folks,
Im not sure if this is the right thread for this topic but here goes anyway.

Im aware of people doing all 5 ridges on the ben in a day in summer (i think some have done in winter/spring), which we are keen to do also.
We managed to do 3 of the ridges in 6 hours today (not including walk-in/walk-out).
Does anyone have any advice in what order to do the 5 ridges in? Its a great day out!

Thanks

Up NE Buttress, down Tower, up Observatory, down Ledge, up Castle?

The way Andy mentioned.

Finlay Wild did it recently:

And this is how Harry Holmes did it in winter:

We did up Observatory, down Coire Leis, up NEB, down Coire Leis, up Tower, down Ledge Route and then up Castle.

But the route order suggested above involving descending more of the ridges will be a lot quicker!

Out of curiosity on the descents is abbing "permitted" or you they have to be down climbed?

Climbing is the main objective I would say. Down climbing tower and ledge route seems like the neatest way, and you are pointing the right way on the tricky bits.

Keen to try this now! ( in winter)
