Late 1990s POD Cragsac, the original UK made model. Black with blue / aqua panels.
Size is roughly 45L + 10L, I'm not sure if they did back sizes in these ones but it fits me nicely and I'm 6 foot.
Foam padded shoulder straps and waist belt.
5 compressions straps, 2 each side and one on top, very handy for making the pack tall and narrow. Two "wand" side pockets (the little open pockets at the bottom of each side). Expandable top giving the extra 10 litres, also handy combined with the top compression strap for strapping ropes etc to the top. Chest strap, top carry handle.
This model does not have a frame or metal stay, it's all fabric.
Made from cordura and very hard wearing. It's had about 10 years regular use and then been stored for a few more years, and it's still in good nick. Tiny bits of wear on the inside of the belt and edges of the straps, a couple of snags on the inside of the belt, all shown in the pics. These really were made to last and there's years of use left in this. Brilliant for cragging, fill it with gear and chuck it anywhere without worrying about it.
Matching rope bag, same kind of age, single strap, tarp is 116 x 144cm. The rubberised coating is going a bit on the rope side of the tarp and especially on the inside of the bag, that shows in the pictures, but apart from that again you would never guess it's age, built to last.
Since they match, let's start by seeing if anyone wants both the rucsac and the rope bag for £55 + postage, or collect from BD20 (Silsden, West Yorks) or meet up near.
After the 24th Oct I'll be working near Leeds and travelling through Bradford every day, could easily meet at the Leeds Wall. Also over Hebden Bridge way regularly, and will be in Otley (via Ilkley) one day this coming week.
