Moved to Glasgow a couple of months ago and after a bit of a break from climbing am keen to get back into indoor training and trad. Aged mid 30s (female) and can lead high 6s in sport and E1/2 trad when fit. Any suggestions appreciated for active clubs or communities in Glasgow with likeminded people - I have started going to TCA/GCC and can of course 'find' people there, but as I'm new to the area it'd be great to join a club and make friends. It's a couple of years since I left Glasgow but there used to be a good ladies night at TCA run informally by 2 staff and the Glasgow branch of the ladies scottish climbing club were really friendly and active.

Why dont you check out the "Scottish Hillwaking and Activity Group" in the MeetUp website/App?
We run regular climbing evenings at the GCC, TCA and Braehead and Walks and outdoor climbing events on the weekends.
Very friendly people.
