Hi, wondering if anyone can help me on this!
I'm going to Delhi from 10-20 December - soooo tantalisingly close to the mountains that I really want to do some ice climbing (I'm still fairly new to it: have done a few basic waterfalls in Cogne)
Realistically I'll only have about four days to spare for the climbing trip - is there any way of accomplishing this?
I fear not, but am very happy to be put right!

In reply to geoffwhite:
Suggest you get an atlas and see where Delhi is in relation to the Himalayas or any mountains.
Nearest mountains that would have anything frozen are the Pir Panjal or the Manali areas both about an 18 hr drive from Delhi ( if you're lucky) Then its another few days walking before you'd reach a mountain with anything remotely frozen, and thats without any acclimatisation whatsoever.
You could fly to Leh for 2 days of being cold and unable to do anything because of the altitude before flying back (again, only if youre lucky with flights + weather).
Short answer for a four day trip - No
