Rear derailleur for triple chain ring road bike

I need to replace the rear derailleur on my 2011 Trek Madone 4.7 triple. Front chain rings are 52,39,30 and cassette is 11-28. Is the medium cage long enough or do I need a long cage derailleur? I'm getting confused by my online searches so any help appreciated.

I have the shorter cage on my tiagra setup and getting the right chain length was a complete pest. I get slippage. Go long cage.
