Just seen her concession speech. That is a woman.

Firstly, well done for working that out (unless you had a little help?).

But sadly it is not a secret, she was Bill Clinton's wife when he was President, 'First Lady'. Also she is the mother of their daughter.

So her gender has been reasonably well known for many years now.

You've got to wonder why she didn't come out and thank her supporters before she conceded and left it to Podesta.

I suspect she's spent the day under sedation and made the speech after gobbling a handful of Xanax.

You might remember that I used the phrase, "that's a man" about Jo Cox's husband. It's just that it is my personal highest accolade. I picked it up from a David Lodge novel (can't remember which one) in the plural form. "These are men!"
Maybe it should be "That's a human being."
Doesn't have the resonance though, does it? Pity I don't feel able to say "That's a man" about Trump. Except being a man, and the most shameful kind, is probably the single most powerful reason why he won.
