Looking for suggestions for a location for this Sunday other than burbage? Something with some beginner routes. Thinking Froggatt or Stanage Plantation, but would they be too damp and green this time of year?
If it's not raining there'll be something dry at both.
Froggatt isn't that great at quick drying bouldering though.
Stanage, curbar, higgar would be better.
Birchen takes very little drainage so it should be dry and it has a good collection of lower grade routes. If the wind is a bit brisk Lawrencefield would be worth a look too.
