Hi,

I'm taking my 4.5 year old to the wall tomorrow for the first time. Was planning on doing the 'save the bear' part way up the wall, anyone got some other games/advice to keep them interested?

Put a small toy, or if the wall allows, a sweet on a hold for them to climb to.

Plenty of breaks and plenty of food throughout as they get tired and hungry.

My kids liked it when we used white duct tape doubled over to make post it like labels. Each label I could draw an animal, word, star or number and use them for various games.
Their favourite was drawing spiders on the labels and placing them on holds to avoid like massive jugs.
Stars were good as a target to get to and then come down to limit the height gained or to encourage higher. They could peel them off and stock them to their t-shirt.
