/ Sodding moths

Went to wear my favourite smart jumper at the weekend, only to find that moths have got into the wardrobe and chewed holes in the front of it.

It was a Christmas present last year.

I'm gutted - really nice merino jumper, lovely colour and very lucky to find it in my size. Irreplaceable.

My sympathies.

I took a favourite cashmere out a couple of weeks ago to find a hole in the armpit and one on the front. Grrrrr.

Now I have a pack of mothballs from Johnsons dry cleaners hanging on the rail - no idea if they work but they're not eating my mohair as well.

More likely to be carpet beetle larvae, or 'woolly bears'...
