Finger specialists/physios Leeds/W.Yorkshire

Hi all,

Have a suspected finger ligament injury, at least that's what minor injuries suspected after x-ray showed no break. From a hyperextension climbing.

Anyone know of a good specialist or physio around Leeds/west Yorkshire area you can recommend, it's been 4 weeks now and still painful so think I should get it looked at properly.

I have the same or similar injury. The route I took was casualty-referral to hand clinic [in derby as near to where I live]. I has xray and ultra sound and luckily no rupture although partial tear. Got physio at the hospital which really consists of squeezing a ball. My injury was now 6 weeks ago, and so far there has been to change, still painful when any slight pull on it. I hear that up to 6 months, which although is not great, is better than longer than 6 months
