I'm moving to the Peak in the new year and was wondering if anyone can recommend clubs in the area that are particularly active in terms of winter climbing. I've only got a couple of routes in Scotland under my belt so would be great to find a friendly club where I can serve a proper apprenticeship.

Hi Chris, The Oread is based in Derbyshire (lots of members in Derby/ Wirksworth areas but I'm aware of several Sheffield/ Chesterfield residents). There are a couple of winter meets coming up, if you'd be interested in meeting members of the club you'd be more than welcome to meet us at the wall one week before going on a weekend meet to see what the club's like.
