It isn't a bad epitaph. if you actually listen to the lyrics it's a damn good one.

I guess the alternative is something like Lucky Man which is.. not so good

Not sure who wrote it, but Greg Lake played on Epitaph (the King Crimson version)

Here's a better version youtube.com/watch?v=U6-PAKOt7sM&

I believe confusion was supposed to be his epitaph, but I just feel rather sad about it all.

There have been various videos of him about today, and although he was primarily known as a guitarist/bassist, he didn't half have a pair of lungs on him!

Excellent! Thanks for that. Ian Anderson from Tull too.

Yes, that is more like it. Great voice, great music.

Boz Burrell singing on that version, GL left in 1970.

Thanks for the music Greg.

(I'm beginning to hate 2016, but I cannot imagine 2017 will bring many laughs either.)

Well it's certainly not my favourite by a long chalk, but it is probably his best known "to the general public" so I thought it was more appropriate than a link to some of his ELP or King Crimson songs, especially considering the time of year.

Except I don't think that's Greg Lake singing.

It's Greg on this version, for sure:
