Could anyone recommend a good B2 or B3 for ice climbing?

Seizing an opportunity I'd say the La Sportiva Trango Extreme Evo Light GTX is ideal. And if you happen to be a size 9 you can buy the hardly used pair I have for less than half price! Google the very lengthy name for lots of on-line info e.g. here: http://www.needlesports.com/108/products/la-sportiva-mens-trango-extreme-ev...

If climbing ice, get b3s.

Where is this for? Have you got good foot circulation? Do you care about weight more than durability? Narrow or wide feet?

The only way of finding a boot is to try plenty on, just because a boot is good for one person the fit could be bad for another. Just stick to the big well know brands and you won't go wrong.

I don't have wide feet... currently got a set of Scarpa Invernos...

Was just looking for some advice for a newer pair for ice climbing(indoor) and also Scottish winter

The new(ish) La Sportiva Nepal Cubes are great. A step up from the old Extremes in terms of weight and warmth. *IF* they fit you well. A lack of comfort walking round the shop will not be improved by a 14 hour day on the Ben.
