Skitouring Chatel and Portes du Soleil

My wife and I have 2 days in Chatel in early January prior to a skimo race in Switzerland. We're hoping to find touring around Chatel/in the Portes du Soleil. Its not an area we know well.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Would be gratefully received.

Not sure if it's worth buying for a single tour but plenty to go at in the book (and in English).

You can view the ski tour routes map for the Swiss side of Port Du Soleil online (see the pink numbered routes). There are a few nice routes out of Morgin just up the road or you can connect them from Chatel easily enough. Pointe de bellevue is great and you can get the bus back to Chatel.
