Well, in a hammock actually, but you get the idea....

So, any good movies i can stream online that people recommend?
Preferably things from 2016 that i may have missed....good action, comedies, anything basically that will take my mind off expectoration

Seen it....this is why I was really looking for more recent recommendations as missed a lot of movies in 2016
In reply to Kimono:
Shown recently again - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b061sk00 . Catch up on iplayer.

Well I liked it for lots of reasons including the cast, story, acting, and if nothing else the scenery!
Edit: oops missed the movie part! Still it maybe of interest.

In reply to Kimono:

Didn't watch loads of films in 2016 but really enjoyed Dead Pool and The Revenant.

If somehow you might get access to Amazon Prime, the Billy Bob Thornton series Goliath is also compulsive binge viewing.

In reply to Blue Straggler:
That's quite a response....you must have time on your hands to type that lot out!

Captain America I walked out of....has put me off ever seeing one of those franchise superhero bullshit movies ever again

Deadpool however was different and clever

Nice guys am currently watching

Snowden and the accountant I loved

Manchester by the sea am struggling to find a stream for but it's on the list
Ditto arrival though I suspect that may be better in the cinema (ps no cinemas where I am)

In reply to Kimono:

Not exactly recent, but Hot Fuzz always cheers me up.
Not recent stuff that I've only seen recently includes Birdmanand The Grand Budapest Hotel (Ralph Fiennes is great).

I'm not very up to date.
Trying to remember what I've seen in the last year, nothing sticks. The Eagle Huntress is lovely to watch if you can find it online, um. I'm out.

I recently watched Argo ( rescuing hostages but not the usual gung-ho BS that would suggest ) and thought it one the best films I'd seen in ages. I d never heard of it but had searched "best films of 2012 " .
