I needed one GPX file which I could not find anywhere else and it includes a bit of bushwacking, so having a route imported into my GPS was quite needed. So...
Magic part: pull the developer tools, find the right request for the route mapping being displayed, take the JSON string out, format it, pull the kml property from the JSON, convert it to CSV, remove unnecessary columns, use CSV to GPX converter and here we are... The route is imported into my GPS.
If some devs were afraid of GPX files being stolen, then that surely does not work? I mean, if you display a map, I would quite like to download it so I can use it on my GPS.
Rant's over.
