Winter climbing 21st - 30th of Jan 2017

Hi all,

I had planned on a winter climbing trip from the 21st - 30th of this month to the Cairngorms. Will be is it worth going? Conditions look shaky at best with no new snow forecast! The reason why I'm asking now rather than the day before going is if I cancel my accommodation by Monday I can get the money back!

Would appreciate everyone's advice about what to do!

MWIS is saying it could be warm and pretty wet or dry and cold. Its warming up now for the next few days and is also really cloudy. I guess if some areas had clearer skies overnight it could freeze up the thawing snow for good climbing in some areas but that's gonna be hard to pinpoint.
Basically its almost impossible to say
