We're travelling out in September to explore a coastal range of mountains on the east coast of artic Greenland.
The mountains lie on the edge of the icecap and offer extensive opportunity for new routes and exploration. The area's suitable for all standards of climbing- from classical mountaineering and scrambling, to big walling and hard rock/alpinism. We want as varied a team as possible.
After flying into a gravel strip, the Inuit will take us up the fjiord lands from where it is a short distance (c.4km) onto the ice. We'll then ski with sledges (no experience nec.) into base camp and climb/ski/explore from there. The trip will cost under well under £2000. A couple of people are going for 2 weeks, the rest 3. We're all meeting up soon, so if you're interested contact me soon on the above email address or 0774 0677 907.
Cheers
Matt
