i'm heading to bishop next week -(woohoo), and just wondering if its possible to buy meths in bishop/ california in general.?? i remember last time i was in yosemite they only had these tiny chemist size bottles...and i only have a trangia for cooking.

In reply to boulderqueen: Yes, you can buy meths in Bishop, but it's not called meths. You have to use denatured alcolhol, and you get it from the hardware store on the far side of town (far side as in the end furthest from Owen's River Gorge). It's on the l/h side of the road, heading out of town. We used it fine in our trangia.
