I have never much liked bowlines. Deeply suspicious of people who know how to tie them. WTF is wrong with a figure-of-eight?

Not sure. It's one of those skills like learning to type properly that I have never been arsed with, on 'I have not bothered for x years, so why start now' basis. Maybe it's time (25++ years climbing) that I learnt ... where did that rabbit go?
