Alpine Down Jacket from PHD PHD Mountain Software, Jun 2008© Neil Thurman
The Alpine is a climber's down jacket, lightweight, harness & helmet friendly. The Cascade outer is 100% windproof and will shrug off snow and showers, the high chest pockets are clear above harness level and the large hood will take a helmet with a volume-reducer for other occasions. The box-wall construction ensures very effective warmth for a low overall weight.
