Those with long memories will remember when 'Wilfs' cafe first opened up above what was then the 'Rock and Run' shop in Ambleside.
Lakes Climber has now re-opened the Cafe due to popular demand. Bilbo's Cafe provides good locally-sourced food, at great prices, in a relaxed atmosphere and is perfect for a rainy day, or before/after you have been out in the hills.
Pint mugs of tea and bacon butties whilst flicking through back issues of the mags has already proved popular! So the next time your about please come in and sample some of our grub. Muddy boots and Dogs welcome, there is also a rail for bikes out the front. You never can tell you might just bump into someone you know......
