Gear for Girls in Wooler, Northumberland, a stone's throw from Bowden Doors, is looking for full or part-time staff for its expanding business.
We need staff who can help us keep on top of our growing number of internet orders, provide friendly advice on the phone to customers and help out with sales and stock in our large store on Wooler High Street.
It's essential that applicants are outdoor enthusiasts such as keen climbers or runners. Some previous experience of working in outdoor stores would be preferable but on-the-job training will be provided.
Computer skills, good telephone manner and a pleasant, confident approach to customers are essential.
Please apply with a brief CV and cover note explaining why you would like to work for us and whether you are looking for a full or part-time position. Please include details of your outdoor interests and current salary where applicable. Pay scales are £6.50 to £8.50/hour depending on experience.
