Blox is a new climbing clothing company based in Sheffield.
“Most of our products are hand-made by virgins in Barnsley.”
The gear first hit the shelves in the Climbing Works shop last summer, and now the Climblox website is fully live.
Sheffield based climber Aide Jebb is behind the company and has started to grow the product line slowly over the last few months.
Aide commented:
"We're not trying to re-invent the wheel, we just want to make innovative, quality kit that works on the crag and doesn't fall to bits."
From the Climblox website:
"Based in Sheffield most of our products are hand-made by virgins in Barnsley.
Our chalk bags are sewn together by mystical elves on a full moon and the closure of our chalk buckets is only possible after being blessed by a talking badger named Bernard.
Ok, ok there's no virgins in Barnsley, but our products are mainly hand crafted there and we hope to
maintain a UK manufacturing base."
