SEE THE MAMMUT RANGE
Set up outside The Square in Hathersage is a huge inflatable mammoth. This weekend there is a special Mammut Event in the Peak District - come rain or shine there will be something to see and do.
Inside The Square you can see, touch and feel the most extensive range of products from Mammut: Footwear, Apparel, Headlamps, Backpacks, Sleeping Bags and Climbing Gear. Mammut UK staff will be there to explain the latest materials and technology from this Swiss alpine company.
Johnny Dawes host to the Mammut athletes in the Peak for the next two weeks
MAMMUT TEAM TRIP WITH Johnny Dawes
For the next two weeks, Mammut athletes are in the Peak District experiencing the climbing on the Grit. Johnny Dawes will be accompanying Mammut climbing athletes David Lama, Jakob Schubert, Cedric Lachat, Magnus MIdtboe and Anna Stor. Mary Woodbridge will be there too, she was the lady with the yellow Mammut jacket who trained assiduously in the Peak District for her Everest ascent.
Visits will also be made to the Broadfield Pub and The Climbing Works. The Mammut team also have a blog
A film, to be shown at UKClimbing.com, will be made of their Peak trip.
TEST AND FIELD EVENT
If you are at Stanage this weekend look out for the Mammut van parked in the parking area and get a chance to try out some Mammut gear.
