The challenges you are taking on mean compromises will need to be made. Pack space must be small, light is good... both on the hill and in travelling to your destination. To get these two factors down we need to use lighter weight materials so that there is no excess weight.
Adventure racers will also like these as they share many of the performance requirements of low weight and small pack size. Airo takes up little space compared to the comfort you will get thanks to it's die-cut foam core and weight saving trimmed down shape (50 cm at the head, 40 cm at the foot). With two lengths available, 180 and 120 cm, we have tailored our Airo sleeping mats to fit into the most compact of travel plans. Travel, adventure.
Airo is part of the Alpkit range of self-inflating mattresses.
