We sought to provide a garment that was light, with good fit, that would be suitable for people who needed a waterproof, breathable top that would last and take the hammer of carrying a heavy pack. It needed to have a wired adjustable hood to give good visibility and weather protection. We have used 3 layer eVent because, of all the breathable laminates, we feel it gives maximum waterproofness and breathability. The innovation in the design, which must mark all the products that OMM produce, is how we have managed to minimise the seams and still give a comfortable fit, and also how we have achieved a snug fitting hug without all the straps, buckles and cords that most manufacturers resort to.
