We are looking for a Climbing Wall Duty Manager to cover maternity leave up to the end of May/beginning of June. There may be the opportunity to work on a casual/ad hoc basis following this period.
The maternity cover hours are 12 per week to be worked at weekends on a shift basis.
The Climbing Wall Duty Manager will ensure the climbing centre is used to its full potential, maintained to an exceptionally high standard whilst also offering users safe, exciting and challenging routes to climb in a safe and user-friendly environment. The role also involves providing supervision and advice to individual and group climbers as required.
The successful candidate will be a committed climber and have experience of dealing with the general public and taking a pro-active approach towards customer service. Self-motivation and high standards of performance are essential for the role along with a practical knowledge of health and safety issues and their implications for the operation of a sports centre.
