Are you an experienced and active climber?
CragX is Sheffield's independent climbing shop. We have a part-time vacancy starting from the end of March. Initially just one evening shift per week plus occasional cover, with the opportunity to take on more shifts in the future. We are a climbing shop, so pay is terrible but staff discounts are very good.
We won't expect you to have experience in retail, but we will expect extensive climbing experience and a fanatical interest in climbing, climbing gear and rock shoes. As a guide, most new members of staff have a minimum of 5 years experience of Trad, Sport and Bouldering, including at least one trip to a non-UK climbing destination (and we won't count Font!). Winter climbing and mountaineering experience would be advantageous but not essential.
