Easily accessible from the UK, the glaciated mountains of the French and Swiss Alps provide an ideal and convenient venue for a comparatively short but action-packed mountaineering experience. Jagged Globe operates a comprehensive programme of courses suitable of aspiring mountaineers, through to experienced climbers. Guiding and instruction is from our high-calibre IFMGA qualified Mountain Guides, with support on the ground for course participants by Jagged Globe staff, who are present in the Alps. In summer 2007, we are offering the following courses:

  • Alpine Introduction - £795 (6 days climbing)
  • Mont Blanc Extension to Alpine Intro, Haute Route or 4,000ers courses - £695 (3 days climbing)
  • Mont Blanc Summit - £1,445 (8 days climbing)
  • The Haute Route - £995 (9 days mountaineering)
  • Chamonix Classics - £1,250 (6 days climbing)
  • Saas 4,000ers - £995 (6 days climbing)
  • Zermatt 4,000ers - £1,055 (6 days climbing)
  • Oberland 4,000ers - £1,250 (6 days climbing)
  • Chamonix Climber - £1,250 (6 days climbing)
  • Zermatt Climber - £1,250 (6 days climbing)
  • Alpine North Faces - £1,595 (6 days climbing)

    We are based in Arolla, Chamonix, Sass Grund and Zermatt, with our Oberland 4,000ers course starting and finishing in Grindelwald.
