The world of mountain sports is constantly changing. For the last 150 years, Mammut's innovative products have enabled it to make a significant contribution to this development. One milestone was the Mammut Extreme collection from 1995. But things have moved on.
Now in their 150th year Mammut present the Eiger Extreme collection. Extremely durable, extremely weatherproof and extremely striking, this new alpine range from Switzerland builds on past successes and meets the very highest quality requirements
The product selection covers the most important requirements for extreme mountain pursuits and meets the highest quality requirements. Abrasion resistant textiles and new combinations of materials withstand extreme mechanical strains and offer maximum protection against climatic influences. To achieve these aims, in its product development Mammut works closely with selected partners such as Gore-Tex, Schoeller, Polartec and YKK. Designs that have been perfectly synchronised with body movements and innovative detail solutions provide for optimum comfort and functionality.
The collection is now available from selected stockists in the UK.
Despite a complete range of technical features, this full-gaiter boot is the lightest in its category, making it a perfect fit for the Eiger Extreme range. It is the ideal companion for high-altitude tours, ice climbing and expeditions, and integrates the patented Base Fit technology to help prevent the foot from slipping in the boot.
They newly developed Easy Entry system allows you to put them on quickly and easily, even when wearing thick gloves. The Speed Lace lacing and Power Strap are also glove-compatible and ensure the perfect grip in any situation. The full-gaiter with a water-resistant YKK zip provides protection from snow, water and cold. The invisible technical highlight is the double-insulated carbon insole, for which a patent application is pending, creating maximum weight reduction and rigidity combined with optimal insulation.
