Previous experience of working within a climbing centre is essential as the role will require you to assist in all aspects of running the centre. You should also have extensive climbing and instructing experience ideally with an SPA or CWA.
You will be required to be extremely flexible and work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
You will be responsible for regularly delivering high quality climbing sessions to children and adults as well as training, mentoring and organising the more junior instructors. General responsibilities would also include the organising and running of bouldering competitions for all ages as well as a customer facing role on reception.
The role offers a competitive salary with benefits package as well as all relevant training with the option to learn to route set available. We would also like to take the opportunity to highlight that as a new centre, we are willing to offer the right individual significant opportunity to expand and help run the centre as they see fit. These efforts will be rewarded proportionately as the centre expands providing a fantastic opportunity for career progression.
