James McHaffie, AKA 'Caff', has joined the DMM Climbing Team. Well-known for his E7 and E8 onsights he was described in Climb magazine (Nov 2011) “as the most accomplished onsight trad climber in Britain.”

However, last year it wasn't his bold trad ascents that were making the headlines but his sport climbing ability, with an historic repeat of Neil Carson's Big Bang F9a – the first since it was established in 1995.
