Montane Pack Range
Montane's new pack range focuses on lightweight comfort, functional excellence, durability and weatherproofness. Available in the shops this spring, the range comprises four new packs ranging from 6 to 32 litres in capacity. Representing Montane's first foray into the world of backpacks, the packs were developed from a clothing manufacturer's perspective and include a number of innovative features, including zip garages, specifically sourced tough yet lightweight fabrics and jacket-friendly back panels.
Montane believe that lightweight packs do not have to compromise comfort and that pack comfort can lead you to go further and faster, ultimately enduring for longer in the mountains. Eighteen years of experience in designing and developing some of the world's leading mountain performance clothing has led Montane to develop packs using the same philosophy of lightweight functionality and excellence in design. Knowledge and attention to detail gained from years of clothing construction informs pack design. Expert fabric knowledge, understanding of body shapes, zip garages, internal storm baffles, waterproof shell friendly back fabrics, weatherproof capabilities, expert pattern cutting, tailoring, feature specification combined with a deep understanding of the mountains and the activities Montane designs for is a powerful recipe in creating serious mountain packs.
