Our brands Outdoordesigns, PODsacs and RAB have developed iconic status within the outdoor industry. From the highest mountain peaks to the urban sprawl, our clothing, equipment and accessories can be found on every terrain.
We are now looking for someone who understands our products and our customers, is a team player, is passionate about the outdoors and has the enthusiasm and communication skills to inspire retail staff with our brand message and product knowledge.
One of the keys to our success is that retail staff have the knowledge and expertise to talk to their customers with confidence about our products.
As a technical sales trainer you will travel extensively throughout the Southern half of the UK. You will be visiting key accounts where you will be responsible for the motivation and training of retail personnel. Your goal will be to promote our brand values and the technical specification of the products and to develop excellent working relationships.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organised and a great communicator. You may already be working in outdoor retail or elsewhere within the outdoor industry and will be an outdoor enthusiast. The role involves regular travel away from home to cover the large territory, as well as regular visits to the Equip head office in Alfreton.
In return we offer a competitive salary, including company car and a very favourable staff deal on products. We operate an open and friendly company with casual dress code and are growing strongly within the market.
The exact territory to be covered will be determined partly by the home location of the successful candidate but is broadly speaking 'the UK south of Birmingham'
