Being knee deep shooting with top level climbers I have created LW-worx with the primary goal of giving aspiring adventure/outdoor photographers the unique opportunity of (perhaps literally) standing in my shoes. By this I mean running regular workshops which are a full-on and hands-on experience involving breathtaking locations, extreme conditions and shooting elite adventure athletes.

I strongly believe that creating great adventure images is a team effort. Sometimes that team can be as small as party of two, you ('photographer') and your model ('athlete'). Over the years I have learned that you only get the best results from shooting with the most competent models. That's why over the past editions we've given our students the opportunity to shoot with some of the world's best climbers (Dave Macleod, Andy Turner) and professional organisations such as the Scottish Avalanche Information Service, creating once in a lifetime opportunities.
The dates for the workshops are below with the first one fast approaching, places are filling up so be sure to grab your opportunity quick.

OTHER LWimages updates
For some time now I have felt a need for greater space to shoot and be more creative in. The new 700 sq ft LWimages studio is now in place and we are hoping for it to not only be our fantastic work place but also a hub for social events.
With all the upgrades complete we will be in the near future looking for an enthusiastic intern/assistant to join the crew.
Another arm to the LWimages has been forming a joint venture with Wojtek Kozakiewicz as the video production collective Polished Project, with soon to be released films about Dave Macleod and Nick Bullock.
So here at LWimages we are certainly looking forward to future collaborations and meeting some of you at our up and coming workshops.
