Lyon's Frank Bennet had the following to say regarding Horizon socks: "I always think of socks with footwear and footwear we know very well through La Sportiva. Consequently I was very happy to talk when Russell from Horizon got in touch. We have been really impressed with Horizon and I'm very pleased that we are working with them."
Russell Brown established the Horizon business in 1999 was similarly complimentary about Lyon: “They have a very professional set up and we are really looking forward to supporting their efforts in establishing the Horizon brand further”.
On the announcement of working with the Katadyn group Frank further commented: "This move allows Lyon Equipment to significantly widen its offering to retailers and (we) will be holding stock of all Katadyn Group products from day one."
