Bouldering competition with £250 cash prize each for male and female open categories and a £2000 overall prize fund including prizes from event sponsors Volx, Red Chili and Wild Country.
Gaz Parry and Jonny Argue will be setting some fantastic routes to suit 6 different categories Ė male and female open, under 16 and fun with qualifying round and finals for the open category; live scores and world cup style format.
Free buffet for all competitors and live music from upcoming singer/songwriter Alex Carrington.
Entry is a standard day pass + £2 if bought in advance (£4 on the day). Tickets can be bought from Boulder Central's online shop website here.

Birthday Bash Ė Sunday 5th May 2013
On 5th May Boulder Central will be throwing a huge birthday bash to celebrate our first birthday, and you're all invited!
Standard entry to climb. Slackline and BBQ facilities are free.
The BBQs will be started at 1pm at the front of the centre. Everyone is welcome to use the BBQs just bring your own meat and bread and cook away. There will be picnic benches so that you can kick back, relax and slap the sunscreen on (weather permitting of course)!
We will also have a slackline set up and this will be free to use from 1pm onwards, age 14+ only (14-17 years require a parents signature).
The competitions are fun and free to enter, just sign up upon arrival. There will be £500 worth of prizes up for grabs, all courtesy of our sponsors: Tip Juice, Charko, Hot Aches, Metolius, Evolv and prAna.
Rough Day Plan:
The relay competition starts at 2.30pm. This will be a timed team event with prizes for the winning team. **Mixed teams only.
In the evening we will be showing climbing films under the mezzanine.
