Rock Over Climbing, Manchester and the North West's premier climbing and bouldering centre, is looking for casual reception staff and climbing instructors to expand our existing team.
We're passionate about climbing, and as one of our reception staff and instructors you'll be the face of Rock Over Climbing – responsible for inspiring and motivating customers while maintaining and promoting a safe climbing environment. You'll be helping people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels to develop their confidence through climbing and must have the drive and energy to meet the challenge of maintaining Rock Over Climbing's growth and status as the place to go climb, train, have a party and generally have fun.
An SPA or CWA
Experience at instructing people of all ages and abilities
Flexibility & willingness to work evenings and weekends
Outdoor climbing experience
An ability to communicate your passion for climbing indoors and outdoors to customers and colleagues alike
Commitment to high quality service and self-development
Adept and comfortable building trust with all your colleagues, working easily with a number of teams
A valid First Aid certificate
Experience in working in a café and food hygiene standards
Responsibilities will include:
To ensure all telephone calls are handled in a timely, professional and friendly manner
To ensure centre users are welcomed in a polite and professional manner
Maintain appearance of reception area and ensuring the centre is clean and tidy
Food handling & service
Instruct kids clubs, inductions, birthday parties and possible coaching
Supporting the senior staff and Duty Managers in the running of the Rock Over ClimbingPay will be related to experience
