NEW Primus Lite stove: simply great

© Primus

For 2015 Primus, Swedish stove specialist, is launching a family of stoves based on the Eta range.  Comprising three members, the collection starts with the entry-level Lite.  This spec'd-down version of the Lite+ offers simplicity yet the same performance and outstanding fuel-efficiency of the rest of the range.

The patent pending Triangular Joint locking mechanism of the pot to the stove and the Laminar Flow Burner Technology [patent pending] provide a stable and efficient cooking experience for one.  The 500ml hard-anodised aluminium pot with its integrated het exchanger and wind protection in combination with the burner makes the stove one of the most efficient of its kind.

The burner and all accessories, including a 100 gram gas cartridge, fit into the pot for easy packing.  The Lite features a simple insulating felt sleeve with an integrated grip loop that ensures easy and safe handling.

A webbing handle makes it possible to use the stove whilst suspended and an additional coffee press turns it into a cafetiere.  The final model in the range is the new Lite XL with its 1.0 litre pot in place of the standard 0.5 litre pot making it suitable for two people.

Here's a short video outlining the rest of the range:
