EDELRID Zodiac Helmet Sep 2013
The Zodiac from EDELRID is a lightweight hybrid helmet well suited to the demands of climbing, mountaineering and Via Ferrata. [ full story ]
We all know that it makes sense to wear a helmet but sometimes with a long walk-in there is just too much other stuff to take. The revolutionary Madillo overcomes that problem by folding for carriage to a fraction of it's volume.
It's light, weighing in at just 380g, and robust as you would expect from an Edelrid helmet yet astonishingly comfortable with EPP foam used for shock absorption in the upper shell whilst softer EVA foam gives comfort and protection around the sides of the helmet.
Size adjustment is from 52 to 62cm and the helmet adjusts by simply applying pressure to the rear whilst wearing it.
