trad. route perhaps?

Hey you've skipped a bolt you daredevil. Good to see the routes getting climbed - hope you enjoyed them. Did you really think "New Religion" was 6b/6c - I'm gutted!

Nowt wrong with anything in the caption! Good use of this time of year!
It's all good as long as it's only really suitable for sport...
I do think overbolting can be almost as much of a detraction as underbolting, it's important to get the balance right.

wolf,
i'm probably not the best to comment as I haven't climbed any sport routes for a bit. The top crux of NR has various options of which I thought the easiest made the whole route no harder than 6c. I could have eaten my weetabix though! Maybe a route up the right arete sharing the same bolts would be good.

The right arete is to be cleaned next. looks hard!

i wouldn't go adding any more bolts to the crag! I've since learnt that both routes are old trad. lines.
Ben.W - 18/Mar/10
There is enough excellent trad rock on Skye for one wee neglected crag, which is now cleaner and with a much bigger following to not be missed too much.
