Possibly one of the worst climbing photographs I've ever seen. Congratulations.

If people want to comment on photos maybe they should be on flicker not UK Climbing, its obverse that you have no interest in climbing and can not apriceat the climb or the fact that my Belayer was doing to things at once and in my opinion my safety comes before the photo quality.

Since there is a comments box, I'd say that I'm entitled to comment on any photograph that is posted on UKC.
I'm sorry if I was a little rash with my initial comment. I'm embellish as to why I think this photograph has failed. I can't see the climber's legs or the climber's face. I can't see the route he's climbing and the shot is over-exposed. It kind of lacks all of the fundamental pre-requisites that combine to create a good climbing photograph.
I've been climbing for twenty-five years and contrary to what you may think I do have an interest in climbing.
A word of advice, if you do value your safety, then I would advise your belayer to do only one thing, and that is belay you. Ask another climber in the vicinity to take your photograph. You'll get much better results (hopefully) and you're safety won't be compromised.

I agree with Gavin. Further, I would direct you to the guidance UKC provide on the upload page:
It is a public gallery, not a one-stop online deposit to put your entire set of holiday snaps - there are plenty of other private online galleries for this kind of thing. Please be selective as to what you include in your gallery; please weed out low scoring or repetitive photos; please try and imagine your viewing audience is all the users of UKClimbing.com, not just you and your friends and family.
