Proud owner of one 120 ft nylon full weight rope, one Stubai screwgate, three nylon slings with steel Cassin carabiners, Austrian kletterschuhes and of course the obligatory flat cap !

Fantastic - I had one of those cameras at about the same time, Although I wasn't climbing - a bit young. They were somewhat fragile...
Pretty well equipped - it's about the same gear I had when I started 10 years later (although no flat cap)

Thanks pneame - surprisingly good quality considering it was scanned from a photo pasted into an old album that had been lying around for over fifty years !

Talking of Flat hats, It was suggested we have a club meet in London and being from Manchester we decided to go suitably attired. The dress code was to be, Jkt, white shirt with no coller, but inc coller stud. White silk scalf, flat hat, whippit in one hand and basket of pigions in the other. Needless to say the weather was fine that weekend so we went to Cloggy. Great days the Sixties
